“One second”, I yelled. “Be right there!” Yes, it was finally Saturday night, and the night of the once a year carnival which everyone goes to. I was as excited as a kid in a candy store. While getting dressed in my room congested with clutter, once again my friends, with a more impatient tone in there voice scream out “Speed up the pace!” I grabbed my new black velour Juicy jacket and scurried outside.
The night started out remarkable. We rode all the stomach dropping roller coasters, and even the grim, harrowing, new haunted house. We walked around eating our over-salted pretzels, and sipping out sweet lemonade. My pink razor cell phone started vibrating in my jeans pocket. I fetched it out and saw that I just received a text message.
It was from an unidentified number. It said, “ Hi Danielle.” Who could this be? I jammed my phone back into my pocket without mentioning it to my friends.
About an hour later, The familiar melody of a song I knew came on. It was my ring tone. Bothered, I grabbed my phone. “Hello?” “Are you having fun at the carnival?” whispered the weird man. Instinctively hung up, and instantaneously told my friends. They told me it was probably my eleven year old brother Alec, just joking around.
Not even 25 minutes later, I felt another vibration. Maybe it was my brother confessing that it was him all along. The text said, “ Looking nice tonight. I know you very well. see you later tonight. Don’t be scared!” “I want to go home!” My friends probably thought there was something seriously wrong with me. It was getting dark outside, and it was around 10:30 PM. The carnival was closing at around 11:00. As my friends were leaving the park, I called my mom. “Be there in ten minutes.” “Okay, love you.” I told her. “ Love you too.” she said. I sat on the curb by myself waiting for her car. I abruptly felt a hot exhalation on the back of my neck. I sealed my eyes shut knowing he was there. “Please, stop!” I screamed on the top of my lungs. He brought a gun to my head. “Don’t move or I’m pulling the trigger.” Without saying a word, my body slowly jerked from his grasp. he shot me in the head. Waking up in my own bed made me realize it was was a gruesome nightmare. I sat up dripping with sweat. Slowly, I began walking to the bathroom to take a shower. "Hi Danielle." said a freaky voice coming from behind the shower curtain. Oh no!

I really liked you story because that can happen in real life and also you used a lot of detail.
Nice way to drop some of those dead words! It looks great! :)
PS: Love the twist at the end!
