I’ve been waking up with horrible nightmares lately and it is always the same. It’s a pitch black night. There is this noise, it just gets louder and louder and then a humuhumongoushtning bolt strikes the ground and I feel the earth vibrate, but then I see it. This gruesome creature I can’t tell what it is as I squint my eyes in fear, but then he swings something at me, and I feel the most severe pain like being smashed by a boulder. I can never fall asleep anymore it just haunts. The only thing I do is keep a gun under my pillow so that I can fall asleep
After a long and hard night of work I had fallen asleep. I could hear it again, but this time it seemed so real. Then a frightful lightning bolt hit the ground as I felt the windows shacking, it wouldn’t stop, and I could feel something getting closer and closer it touched me. I took out my gun and BANG! It stood there looking at him then he heard it say something… “Daddy”… then she fell to the ground. Oh no I thought this all had to be a nightmare. He was looking for every possible way to get out of his dream but little did he know it was reality.
The next day the police found both of them one shot and one scared to death , and the only evidence they had was a gun.

This was a good story, but its needs more onfo like who is the girl who said daddy? and was the man the girls dad? or something like that? Good use of smilies though.

Try using better word choice to bring out the details. Paint a picture of this nightmare with your words, don't just TELL me he was scared.
